I am a Licensed Psychotherapist (NY MH 007627 FL MH 9487), wellness coach and writer author with an eclectic background.
Both of my parents were actually psychoanalysts, and I grew up in and around the field of counseling. I work with clients who are dealing with trauma, substance abuse and addiction, and people who are feeling “stuck” in their daily lives and need coaching to improve their performance in a number of critical life areas.
With my background in school psychology, Psychoanalysis, Physiology, Mental Health, and my own training in martial arts and fitness, I help individuals, couples and families deal with real life issues and problems and empower them to develop solutions. I am often called upon to help families intervene with a loved one suffering from substance abuse and mental health issues. I also consult with my mother, Norma Ross PsyD (www.normarosscoaching.com).
Clients come to me to make REAL changes in their lives. Since I specialize in dealing with wellness, trauma, addictions, depression and parenting issues, I can get to the core of problems in a unique manner.
I recently became the Script Consultant for The Mind of a Murderer, hosted by Dr. Michelle Ward on Investigation Discovery (ID Channel). I frequently consult as an on-air guest to a number of TV Shows including WPIX 11 in NYC and WREG-3 in Memphis, TN to discuss clinical and therapy issues to educate and inform viewers.
As a writer, I am the Co-author of a parenting book, You Can Say NO and You Child Will Still Love You, available for Amazon Kindle.
When I am not at my “day job” I pursue two of my passions, stand-up comedy and I portray George Harrison in a Beatles tribute band called Let It Be.
